Why host with MaximusHost?

Resources that can grow with your world

Choose from 1–24 GB RAM and 1–8 vCPU. We recommend starting with 2–6 GB RAM and 1.5–4 vCPU, then checking how your world runs.

Choose a compatible version

Select Stable latest, Preview latest, or a specific version. Your players need Bedrock clients that match the server.

Manage your world and backups

Use world and property tools to shape your server. The owner or a collaborator granted backup-management permission can create a backup before important changes.

Easy day-to-day controls

Review server status, console output, and logs from your account. Change the active world PvP rule from Overview or Properties while the server is running. Give collaborators only the access they need.

How it works

  1. Choose your game and resources. Pick Minecraft Bedrock and choose RAM and CPU for the way you plan to play.
  2. Set up your server. Choose the options for your game and review the one-time creation fee before you confirm.
  3. Start and connect. When your server is ready, start it from your account and share the connection details with your group.
  4. Manage it as you play. Use your MaximusHost dashboard to check server status and manage its settings and tools.

Estimate your hosting cost

See a Standard-account estimate in credits based on RAM, CPU, storage, and expected running time. If your game needs a dedicated IP, its estimated charge is included too. Stopped-server charges can vary by account, including whether a dedicated IP remains assigned. Review Billing and Credits for details. Setup also shows the one-time 50-credit server creation fee.

Choose a game to apply its recommended resources.

Custom estimate: choose whether a dedicated IP is required.

Minecraft Bedrock features

Play with compatible Bedrock clients

Host a Bedrock world for players using compatible Bedrock clients. Connection methods vary by device, and Java and Bedrock editions use different server types.

Shape how your world plays

Adjust view and tick distance to suit your group and server resources. The Overview tab includes quick settings such as game mode and difficulty. Both Overview and Properties also offer a separate, live-readback PvP control for the active world.

Keep your progress in reach

Use world tools and make a backup as the owner or through a collaborator granted backup-management permission before version or world changes. Choose resources for the world you have today and revisit them as it grows.

Frequently asked questions

How much RAM and CPU should I start with?

We recommend 2–6 GB RAM and 1.5–4 vCPU for a first Bedrock server. Check resource use during a normal session and adjust as needed.

Which Bedrock versions can I choose?

Choose Stable latest, Preview latest, or a specific version offered during setup. Make sure your players use compatible Bedrock clients.

Can players on different devices join?

Players can join from compatible Bedrock clients. Connection methods vary by platform, so check how each person’s device connects.

Do I need to buy a dedicated IP?

No. A standard Bedrock server on MaximusHost uses shared networking, so a separate dedicated IP is not required. For current NetherNet-based versions, players enter the TCP signaling port displayed in Connection Addresses; MaximusHost manages the UDP gameplay ports automatically.

Can I protect my world before changing it?

Yes. The owner or a collaborator granted backup-management permission can create a backup before changing versions or worlds. Test the result before inviting everyone back.

Can I make my Bedrock server private?

Yes. New Bedrock servers default to allow-list off so compatible, authenticated players can join without invitations. Turn allow-list on in Properties and add permitted gamertags to allowlist.json to restrict who can enter. Keep online-mode enabled.
