Create a Server
Minecraft Bedrock servers are created from the shared Create Game Server page.
Open the creation form
- Open My Account and select My Servers.
- Open the Create New Server tab.
- Select Create Minecraft Bedrock.
Configure the server
The form currently includes:
- Server name
- Server location
- RAM (GB)
- CPU cores
- Version mode
Version mode currently offers:
- Stable latest
- Preview latest
- Specific version
The form displays the current resource range and recommended setup. At the time of this audit, the displayed ranges were 1–24 GB RAM and 1–8 vCPU, with a recommended setup of 2–6 GB RAM and 1.5–4 vCPU. These values may change as the platform is updated.
Cost and creation
The live form shows the one-time 50-credit creation fee and calculates the authoritative running estimate from your selected RAM and vCPU before submission.
Click Create Server after reviewing the settings. Setup may take several minutes before the server is ready.
After creation
Open the new server from My Servers to manage its lifecycle, properties, console, files, resources, and backups. The exact management tabs depend on the server's current state.
When the server is ready, copy its address and port from Overview → Connection Addresses. Bedrock 1.26.50 and later use NetherNet; the displayed port is the TCP signaling port. MaximusHost routes the server's UDP gameplay range automatically, so players do not need to configure additional ports and a dedicated IP is not required.
New Bedrock servers start with the allowlist disabled so you can join immediately using a compatible, authenticated Bedrock client. Anyone who knows the address and port can attempt to join while it is disabled. For a private server, enable allowlist in Properties, add permitted players to allowlist.json in Files, and apply/restart as instructed before inviting people. Keep online-mode enabled for Microsoft account authentication.
Use a Bedrock client that supports NetherNet (Minecraft 1.26.50 or later) and match it to the selected server version. Use Specific version when you need to select a particular server release.
