This guide explains how to create a new server from the My Servers page, then walks through the Terraria Server creation form.

The exact available games may grow over time, but the creation flow is similar across server types.

My Servers Page

The My Servers page is your main dashboard for managing all servers on your account.

Typical information shown includes:

• Total Servers
• Active Servers
• Available Credits
• Credit purchase options
• Existing server list
• Server creation options

Available Credits

Your current credit balance appears near the top-right area.

Credits are used to run servers based on resource usage and platform pricing.

If needed, use:

Buy Credits

to add more balance.

Navigate to Create New Server

From the My Servers page:

1. Click the Create New Server tab
2. Select the game you want to host

Use the sliders to choose your hardware allocation.

Memory (GB)

Controls available RAM.

Higher RAM helps with:

• Larger worlds

CPU (vCPU)

Controls processor power.

Higher CPU helps with:

• Busy servers
• Heavy modpacks

Initial World

Choose the first world's settings before provisioning:

• World Name — the name players see in Terraria
• World Size — Small, Medium, or Large
• World Evil — Random, Corruption, or Crimson

World generation happens during the first server start. Choosing these settings during creation avoids waiting for an unwanted world to generate and then replacing it. Larger worlds take longer to generate.

Credit Cost

The page calculates the estimated running cost from the RAM and vCPU values you select. The live estimate is authoritative.

Credits are typically deducted while the server is running according to platform billing rules.

Some server types may also have a one-time creation fee.

Server Name

Choose the display name for your server.

Example:

Use something recognizable for you and your players.

Server Location

Choose the hosting region.

Example:

US-East

Select the region closest to most players for lower latency.

• Moderate Ram (2.0 GB)
• Moderate CPU (2.0 vCPU)

Create Server

After reviewing settings, click:

Create Server

You will be returned to My Servers page with your new server in maintenance mode. Once provisioning is complete, your new server will exit maintenance mode and will be fully available to you.

Server setup may take several minutes before the server is ready. Initial world generation can take longer for large worlds.

After Creation

Once complete, your server should appear in My Servers.

From there you can open the management page to:

• Start/Stop
• View console
• Create backups

Troubleshooting

Create button not working

Check:

• Enough credits available
• Required fields completed
• Resource values valid

Server costs too high

Reduce RAM or CPU sliders.

Players lagging later

Increase resources or choose a closer location.

• Start small and scale resources later.
