Create a Server
Minecraft Java servers are created from the shared Create Game Server page.
Open the creation form
- Open My Account and select My Servers.
- Open the Create New Server tab.
- Select Create Minecraft Java.
Configure the server
The form currently includes:
- Server name
- Server location
- RAM (GB)
- CPU cores
- Server software
- Minecraft version
- Template (optional)
Available software choices include Vanilla, Fabric, Forge, NeoForge, Geyser (Bedrock cross-play), Paper, and Quilt. The available Minecraft version list depends on the selected software and may load after the form opens.
The form displays the current resource range and recommended setup for Minecraft Java. At the time of this audit, the displayed ranges were 1–24 GB RAM and 1–8 vCPU, with a recommended setup of 4–8 GB RAM and 2–4 vCPU. These values may change as the platform is updated.
Templates currently include None (blank server), OneBlock, Skyblock, and Vanilla Plus.
Cost and creation
The live form shows the one-time 50-credit creation fee and calculates the authoritative running estimate from your selected RAM and vCPU before submission.
Click Create Server after reviewing the settings. Setup may take several minutes before the server is ready.
After creation
Open the new server from My Servers to manage its lifecycle, properties, console, files, worlds, resources, and backups. The exact management tabs depend on the selected software and current server state.
Choosing software
- Use Vanilla for standard Minecraft gameplay.
- Use Paper for plugin-oriented servers.
- Use Fabric, Forge, NeoForge, or Quilt when the required mod ecosystem supports it.
- Use Geyser (Bedrock cross-play) when you need the supported cross-play setup.
Choose a template only when you want its preconfigured starting experience. Use None (blank server) for a clean setup.
