The Overview tab is the main control page for your Minecraft Bedrock server. From here you can view server information, monitor resource usage, and quickly update common settings.

Server Information

At the top of the page you'll see basic server details.

ID

Example:

171

Useful when contacting support or identifying multiple servers on your account.

Location

Shows the physical region where your server is hosted.

Example:

us-east

Choosing a location closer to your players can improve ping and responsiveness.

Resources

This section shows current live usage of your server.

RAM

Displays memory currently being used by the server.

Example:

0.2 GB

Higher player counts, addons, or active chunks may increase RAM usage.

CPU

Displays current processor load.

Example:

1%

Temporary spikes are normal during chunk generation, mob activity, or multiple players joining.

Storage

Displays disk space currently used by your server files.

Example:

0.3 GB

Includes:

• World saves
• Configuration files
• Addons / behavior packs
• Logs

Use backups and remove unused files if storage grows too large.

Quick Settings

This section allows fast changes to common gameplay settings.

Difficulty

Controls survival challenge level.

Available options may include:

• Peaceful
• Easy
• Normal
• Hard

Gamemode

Sets the default player mode.

Available options may include:

• Survival
• Creative
• Adventure

PvP

Turns player-vs-player combat on or off.

• Enabled: Players can damage each other
• Disabled: PvP combat is blocked

Server Identity

Customize how players find and recognize your server.

Name

The visible server name shown in Bedrock server lists.

Example:

US-East Test 1

Subdomain

Your custom MaximusHost connection subdomain.

Example:

171-1

Players may connect using this address:

171-1.maximushost.com

(Port will be default: 19132.)

Save Changes

After modifying any settings, click Save Changes to apply them.

Some changes may require a server restart.

View Details

Use View Details in the Resources panel for expanded performance information.

Full Settings

Use Full Settings to access advanced Bedrock configuration options beyond Quick Settings.

Tips

• Use Easy + Survival for casual play.
• Use Creative for building worlds quickly.
• Disable PvP for family-friendly servers.
• Rename your server so friends can identify it easily.

Troubleshooting

Settings Did Not Apply

Try clicking Save Changes again and restart the server.

Server Name Not Updating

Clients sometimes cache names. Reconnect or refresh the server list.

High RAM Usage

Large worlds, many mobs, and multiple players can increase memory usage.
