The Remove Server tab allows you to permanently delete a server from your MaximusHost account.

This page is available for supported MaximusHost game servers.

Removing a server deletes the server instance and associated data after confirmation.

How Removal Works

The first page contains a Remove Server button.

Clicking it opens a confirmation page where you can review the server details and confirm deletion.

Confirmation Page

Before deletion, you may see information such as:

• Server Name
• Server Type
• Plan / Size
• Address / Subdomain

Example:

• Name: My Forge
• Type: minecraft-java
• Size: custom
• Address: mine.maximushost.com

This helps ensure you are deleting the correct server.

Permanent Action Warning

Removing a server is usually permanent.

Deletion removes all items such as:

• World/save data
• Server files
• Mods/plugins
• Configuration files
• Logs
• Scheduled tasks
• Shared access entries
• Assigned resources

If you may need the server later, create backups first.

How to Remove a Server

Step 1

Open the Remove Server tab.

Step 2

Click Remove Server.

Step 3

Review the confirmation page carefully.

Step 4

Click:

Yes, Remove Server

to permanently delete the server.

Or click:

Cancel

to return without changes.

Recommended Before Deleting

Create a Backup

Download or create a final backup if the world or data matters.

Save Important Files

Use File Manager or Backups to preserve:

• Maps
• Saves
• Configs
• Mods
• Logs

Notify Shared Users

If others use the server, let them know first.

Check Dedicated IP / Costs

Removing unused servers may stop future charges depending on configuration.

• Finished seasonal server
• Testing server no longer needed
• Rebuilding fresh
